MJ OutCault Hill, Founder

Founded by MJ Outcault Hill, MBA, PhD., GrowHistory was borne out of MJ's lifelong passion for community history, and a realization that many of the communities she lived and worked in benefited from their strong sense of their own history. MJ holds a PhD in History Education, and in addition to serving as President of a City Historical Society, she is a longtime lecturer on city history and architecture topics, and has helped coordinate many special events for municipalities. She is skilled at working with board members, volunteers, city officials, community leaders, and general citizenry. MJ is supported by a team of history specialist, including:

Rochelle McCune,Archivist

Rochelle is a certified archivist with over forty years of archival experience for a major retail organization, and also currently works with a city historical society, Rochelle has coordinated archiving for small, medium and large collections.

She is skilled at developing digital preservation models and policies; prioritizing digital assets; developing storage programs, and using outreach to grow city archival collections.

Nicole Maury, Videographer

Nicole is an experienced videographer and has worked as a professional oral historian for over twenty years. She creates movie theater-quality video interviews for historical societies, private clients and community events. Using complex editing and film production techniques, She brings city oral history libraries to the next level, making them come alive for the viewer.
